Shipping and Delivery Policy

 

The following conditions will be validated if you place an order through Univers des poignées. These conditions have been drawn up to ensure that all parties involved are fully aware of the rules governing the transaction and that it takes place in an atmosphere suitable to everyone.

1. General

We make every effort to keep our inventory constantly up to date, but occasionally there may be a shortage of certain products we have selected. When this happens, we offer you either a later delivery, or the possibility of making further purchases on the basis of a voucher that we will make available to you. If neither of these solutions is suitable for you, we will refund your money.

2. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are paid at checkout. We charge them according to a number of parameters, including weight, dimensions and place of delivery. For France, home delivery costs 0€. For other European countries, it depends on the destination.

3. Returns

You can consult our Returns and Refunds Policy via the link at the bottom of the page for everything concerning returns to us.

4. Terms of delivery

If your order is destined for a location outside the country, the delivery time is usually 10 days, but can be up to 15 in some cases. This time depends on both your delivery requirements and the supply of the items you have selected. Each order is shipped with our partner La Poste, Colissimo.

Shipping time

Once payment has been made, we reserve two working days to process your order. During this time, you have 24 hours to change the delivery location if you wish.

Shipments are made from our warehousing facilities, with which we correspond during office hours on all working days, with the exception of national holidays.

At Univers des poignéesOnce you have paid for your order, we ship your package within a maximum of 10 working days. However, delivery can take up to 15 days.

It's important not to confuse shipping with delivery. In reality, shipping is the operation during which we send your parcel, whereas delivery is the transport of your order to the agreed place of receipt.

Univers des poignées would like to point out that 20 days is the maximum time it can take to receive your order. Beyond the 20 days, the most important thing for us is your satisfaction.

To keep you satisfied, we offer other options. We can cover the cost of returning your package, or instead, you can receive a voucher worth more than your original invoice. The likelihood of this happening is almost nil, but it's possible. Univers des poignées being far-sighted, we have chosen to make you aware of our policy for resolving these cases.

Therefore, if the announced deadlines are not met, you have two options. You can either send a reply to the email you received, or you can leave us an email atcontact@universdespoignées.com.

In addition, to ensure that your request is processed quickly, please reference your email as follows:

  • Your order number ;
  • The e-mail address on your order;
  • Your first and last name ;
  • Details of your order, even if incomplete;
  • The date of the order.

When you send us an email via contact@universdespoignées.com, we recommend "Delivery time - The number corresponding to your order" in the subject line, illustrated as follows: "Delivery time - 125698".

Within a maximum of 48 working hours, you'll receive a reply from our specialist team, while they process your request.

4.4 Change of delivery address

If you wish to change your delivery location, we will be happy to accommodate your request as long as you let us know before shipment.

4.5 Shipment by P.O. box

Currently at Univers des poignéesWe only use the postal service for deliveries to P.O. box addresses, as we do not yet have a dedicated service for this type of delivery.

4.6 Shipping military addresses

We use USPS for this type of delivery. However, this service is not available as a courier service with us.

4.7 Out-of-stock items

When one of the items you have ordered is no longer available in our warehouse, we offer you a choice. You will be able to choose either a later shipment, or to purchase other products, the value of which will, of course, be higher than the value of the out-of-stock item. If this does not suit you, we will refund your money.

4.8 Exceeding delivery time

If we exceed the agreed delivery time, please send an e-mail to the following address contact@Universdespoignées.coma request that will be processed.

5. Notification follow-up

Once the parcel has been dispatched, a tracking link is sent to you so that you can follow all the stages of transport thanks to the carrier's updates.

6. Packages damaged in transit

If you notice any damage in transit at the time of receipt, we recommend that you reject the parcel and contact us via our customer service department. If, on the other hand, the parcel was received in your absence, please contact us via our e-mail address contact@Universdespoignées.comcustomer service department Handle universe.

7. Duties and taxes

7.1 Sales tax

As indicated in Univers des poignéesIf you place an order with us, we will apply the sales tax directly to the price of the items.

7.2 Import duties and taxes

Import duties and taxes are specific to each destination country. At  Univers des poignéesWe encourage you to familiarize yourself with all the charges that may apply to the delivery of your parcel before placing an order. If, despite everything, you do not pay, the parcel is returned to us at Univers des poignées. After that, we deduct the return shipping costs from the order amount and refund the remainder. On the other hand, we do not refund the original shipping costs.

8. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, we will grant your request as long as the parcel has not been dispatched. However, any cancellation request made after this time will be subject to our refund policy, which we invite you to consult at the bottom of this page.

9. Insurance

In the event of loss or damage to your parcel, our insurance covers costs up to the amount declared by the carrier. However, we only consider loss on the basis of confirmation from the postal services and not on the basis of a simple customer claim. This measure is the result of numerous cases of abuse of trust by unreliable customers, to which we have referred.  Univers des poignées has already dealt with. In addition, we will do our utmost to satisfy you. We'll cover the cost of transporting the goods, and return them to you in accordance with your order. Alternatively, you can receive a voucher for a higher value than your original invoice.

9.1 Process for packages damaged in transit

If your product is damaged in transit, you may be refunded or receive a replacement product. All our conditions are detailed in the Return and Refund Policy, which we invite you to consult at the bottom of the page.

9.2 Process for parcels lost in transit

When we receive confirmation of a loss from the postal service, we will do everything in our power to ensure that the loss is rectified. Univers des poignées in order to satisfy you as much as possible. We will cover the cost of transporting the items and returning them to you in accordance with your order. Alternatively, you can receive a voucher for a higher value than your original invoice.
