These terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales made through the https://universdespoignees.com/ website.

 

ARTICLE 2: ORDERS

Automatic recording systems are considered as proof of the nature and content of the order. Univers des poignées® confirms acceptance of the order to the customer at the e-mail address provided. The sale will be concluded upon validation by Univers des poignées® of the payment of the order, i.e. the date of validation of payment for orders paid online by credit card or the date of receipt of payment by cheque. Univers des poignées® reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.

 

ARTICLE 3: AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS

As long as our offers and their prices are visible on the site, they are valid. The availability indicated at the time of consultation of the site by the customer remains dependant on the state of stock at the company. Univers des Handles® and, of course, our suppliers.

To create our showcase and sales catalog, we work with databases, enriched with information provided by our suppliers. This database contains more than a hundred items, not all of which are stored in our warehouses, and our offers are therefore subject to availability from our suppliers.

Only if an article is permanently out of stock with our suppliers will it be removed from our sales offer. In all other cases, a new order may be placed within a certain period of time.

When a product ordered is unavailable, the customer is informed by e-mail or on the invoice of the products shipped in the case of an order of several items.

Order delivery deadline: when the order is placed and on the order acknowledgement, a delivery deadline is communicated to customers. This is calculated by adding the time taken for the longest available product to the delivery time for the mode of transport selected by the customer.

From the moment the order is placed until it is dispatched, the customer has the option of cancelling the order.

Pre-order articles Pre-orders: articles to be published are offered on the https://universdespoignees.com/ website as pre-orders. This reservation is made with the indication of a release date announced by the publisher at the time of the opening of the reservation phase. This release date may be changed at any time by the publisher, who is solely responsible for marketing his product.

In all cases, Univers des poignées® makes every effort, from the date of final release for sale, to dispatch items to customers who have reserved, up to the level of stock supplied by the publisher for the day of release.

 

ARTICLE 4: PRICES 

The prices indicated in euros are deemed net, excluding shipping costs. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging and storage costs. Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice, but articles will be invoiced on the basis in force when the order is registered. All orders are invoiced and payable in euros. Any customs duties or local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

 

ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs include preparation, packaging and postage. Please remember to combine all your items into a single order. We will not be able to group two separate orders, and shipping costs will be charged for each of them.

 

ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT

You can choose from several payment methods offering maximum security. You can pay :

- By credit or debit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard) either directly on the site, in the payment form provided during the order process (secure entry using SSL encryption), by entering the type of card, your card number with no spaces between the digits, the control number (located on the back of your card) and the validity date.

Payment by credit card is perfectly secure; your order will be registered and validated as soon as the bank accepts your payment.

ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY

We deliver to your home or to a relay point. The delivery time includes the preparation time of the parcel plus the delivery time. Univers des poignées® delivers worldwide. The purchaser is notified by e-mail of the different stages in the tracking of his order: preparation and delivery.

Delivery time includes preparation time and delivery by our carrier. The announced delivery time of 5 to 7 days is valid from receipt by the buyer of the order delivery e-mail. The delivery time of (announced by the carrier) does not commit Univers des poignées® to a longer delivery time.

 

ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY - RETURNS - REFUNDS - WITHDRAWAL

The items supplied by https://universdespoignees.com/ are brand new and guaranteed against all defects. They are identical to those sold in traditional stores and come from all the publishers and suppliers listed.

In the event of a defective or non-compliant item, the purchaser has 30 working days from receipt of the items to request an exchange or refund. If the thirty (30) day period normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

Customers must return new or unused items, intact and with all accessories. In such a case, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to contact@universdespoignées.com (description and photos enclosed).

In the event of exercising the right of retraction, Univers des poignées® is obliged to reimburse the sums paid by the customer, free of charge, with the exception of return costs. Reimbursement is due within a maximum of 14 working days from the date of receipt of the returned parcel(s). 

ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP - TRANSFER OF RISK

The transfer of ownership of the products to the purchaser will only take place after full payment of the price by the latter, whatever the date of delivery of the said products. On the other hand, the transfer of the risks of loss and deterioration of the products will only take place upon delivery and receipt of said products by the purchaser.

 

ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Univers des poignées ® is the producer and owner of all or part of the databases making up this site. By accessing this site, the customer acknowledges that the data comprising it is legally protected, and agrees not to extract, reuse, store, reproduce, represent or retain, directly or indirectly, on any type of medium, by any means and in any form whatsoever, all or any qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases appearing on the site accessed.

 

ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW

All clauses contained in these general terms and conditions of sale, as well as all purchase and sale transactions referred to herein, shall be governed by French law.

 

ARTICLE 13: ACCEPTANCE BY THE PURCHASER

These general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the price lists, are expressly approved and accepted by the purchaser, who declares and acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of them, and thereby waives the right to invoke any contradictory document, in particular his/her own general terms and conditions of purchase. The act of purchasing implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
